WIKI Conference
Naar goede gewoonte is er tijdens KLAPSTUK#12 plaats voor reflectie: samen met Etcetera slaan we de handen in elkaar voor een wiki conference. Een wiki is een internetforum met een bijzondere eigenschap: elke gebruiker kan de inhoud ervan aanpassen waardoor een tekst op organische wijze vorm krijgt.
De WIKI conference bestaat uit twee fasen. In een eerste, besloten moment buigen critici, programmatoren, artiesten ... van over de hele wereld zich via internet over enkele hete hangijzers van de hedendaagse dans. Het verzamelde materiaal is stof voor discussie met een breder publiek.
The KLAPSTUK / ETCETERA-wiki is now opened for comments! Key texts will be posted by Bojana Kunst, Jean-Marc Adolphe, Martin Nachbar, and many others.
On the 28th of October, between 6 pm and 8pm we discuss the following topics on-line. Just click on the questions to enter, or use the following link:
1) Question 1:what is the relationship between architecture and the arts in the contemporary performance/arts practice?
2) Question 2:in what way do collaborative performance practices influence/limit/broaden up the artistic outcome, and what is this practice a reaction to?
3) Question 3:what is the position of contemporary dance within a transdisciplinary arts practice? in what way does dance develop in this ‘new’ context? in what way is transdisciplinarity fundamental to the development of a contemporary dance discourse?
On the 4th of November we have a public discussion at 2pm, based on the collected material. The discussion will be audio streamed, and you can comment on the wiki-website. Your questions and remarks will be projected during the discussion, and taken up in the live debate.
