26/4 23:00 : Kong & Gratts
Kong & Gratts, it really is a coincidence. Kong has a radio show on national Belgian radio Studio Brussel in which no nonsense house is the basic ingredient. Together with Gratts he runs the ensemble label and parties, as well as compiling the house music on 22tracks.com together, a musical platform coming from Amsterdam and well on its way to conquer 22 cities all over the world. Gratts and his bag of records, sometimes two, have been touring for almost fiteen years now, taking pride in being one of Belgium’s best kept secrets. In the last few years he's appeared in some of Europe’s finest spots like Tief (Corsica Studios), Trouw (Amsterdam), Planet Rose, Fuse (Brussels) among other places. Being a member of the small but dedicated We Play House family also led to Gratts teaming up with San Soda to form the infamous Het Collect-Ief Deruyter. Gratts recently relocated to Berlin where he works on the ensemble label and just started a new night named after one of his favourite Larry Heard records: 'Beyond The Clouds'.
