WORLD SQUAD (IT/BE/TG/GR)

Brussels-based World Squad is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the most solid and groovy bands there are.

Made of a strong afrobeat component mixed with funk, rock and jazz, the band's music doesn't leave much chances to want to stand still.

In a flawless show that keeps the crowd dancing right from the start, World Squad’s mastery to impose sudden tempo changes and use odd-meters nonchalantly will strike also the most exigent listeners.

Led by the Italian Daniele Martini the group leaves up to its name with its musicians coming from as far as Togo, Italy, Greece and Belgium, also Nigeria can hail when a special guest joins them: afrobeat legend Oghene Kologbo of Fela Kuti's Africa 70.

With him the band has already performed in various countries of Europe: Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany.
